- 4 ithenda ye-Karelas (ama-Bitter Gourds)
- 2 tbsp. amafutha yemifino (noma i-canola noma amafutha okupheka)
- Amaqabunga ama-curry angu-6
- 1 tsp. imbewu ka-cumin
- 1 tsp. imbewu emasinaphi emnyama
- 2 ama-chilies aluhlaza (ahlukaniswe)
- 1 anyanisi omncane (oqoshiwe)
- 1 tsp. i-ginger (ivuliwe)
- 1 tsp. i-garlic unamathisele
- 1 tbsp. coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp.
- i-turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp.
- i-red chili powder
- 1 tsp. i-mango eluhlaza okwesibhakabhaka
- 1 tsp. ukunamathela kwe-tamarind
- 1 tbsp. ukugcoba okuvuthiwe

Indlela Yokwenza
- Geza ama-karelas / ama-gourds kahle futhi ubophe. Sika phezulu 'nomsila' we-karela ngayinye (ukulahla) bese uhlukanisa phansi phansi. Sebenzisa i-spoon ukukhipha yonke imbewu kusukela phakathi. Lahla imbewu. Manje nqamula ama-halla ka-karela abe yizingxenye ezingu-1/4 "ezinzima. Gcina eceleni ukuze usebenzise kamuva.
- Geza amafutha epanini bese wengeza amaqabunga e-curry, imbewu yesinaphi kanye ne- cumin kanye nama-chillies aluhlaza. Uma beka ukuxuba, engeza anyanisi oqoshiwe bese usuka ngomzuzu. Manje engeza i-ginger nogalikhi bese usuka ngomunye umzuzu.
- Engeza i-coriander, i-turmeric, i-chilli ebomvu ne-raw mango powders bese uxuba kahle. Phonsa amanzi amancane bese usuka ngomzuzu, uvuselela kahle.
- Engeza izingcezu ze-karela, u-tamarind unamathisele nosawoti ukunambitha, ugqugquzele upheke kuze kube yilapho i-karela ithambile.
- Manje engeza le-jaggery bese uvuselela. Vumela inhlanzi ukuthi iyancibilika bese iqala ukugcizelela kancane. Vala umlilo, uhlobise ngamaqabunga e-coriander.
- Khonza nge-Chapatis eshisayo (i-flatbread yaseNdiya) noma i-Parathas (i-pan-fried Indianbrebread).
